Café Tropical is a restaurant & showcase kitchen in Mannheim. Its concept refers to a theater program: instead of actors an ensemble of chefs or food entrepreneurs are creating the shows and plays. Menus and food concepts keep on changing to perfectly entertain Café Tropical´s guests.
Café Tropical´s menu is small but exquisite and changes every couple of weeks. Every new theme is introduced by a collage. I took the term #foodporn word-for-word and used old porn magazines as a basis for the collages.
