In 2008 I spend the summer in New York City. When not working at STERLING BRANDS I explored the city by foot. I walked around a lot and literally spend a huge amount of time on the cities arteries – its streets.
Noticing the disastrous condition of most inner city streets lead me to investigate the concrete surfaces, desperately patched potholes and misplaced gullies of “the world´s capital”. The result is this series of analog photos that cluster scratches, wounds, scars and beads of concrete.
